Rated PG for intense sequences of action and violence, and some partial nudity. Did you know Edit. Trivia In the flashback to Africa, a young black girl with white hair can be seen. This scene was removed from the final cut, but appears as a deleted scene in the DVD.

Goofs Sabretooth and Wolverine are supposed to be brothers, but in the first X-Men movie they encounter each other several times and there is no mention of this connection.

This is because Sabretooth suffers from amnesia just like Wolverine, as explained in the comic book "X2 Prequels: Wolverine", which takes place between X-Men and X2 Quotes William Stryker : Your country needs you.

The film's main post-credits scene is of the Deadpool, still alive after being decapitated. He reaches for his head and whispers briefly, ending the scene.

This scene does not lead into Deadpool as that film is set in the new X-Men timeline, whereas this film is set in the old X-Men timeline. During the original theatrical run, which scene you saw was random depending on your theater; the home video version features the Deadpool scene after the credits and the Japanese bar scene is available on the two-disc DVD as a deleted scene.

Alternate versions German theatrical version was cut by the distributor before submission to the FSK to secure a "Not under 16" rating the killing of the old couple is shortened, you don't see Wolverine igniting the gasoline. Ironically, the uncut version, submitted for the home video release, was rated "Not under 16" as well, thus rendering the cut theatrical version completely unnecessary.

Connections Edited into Deadpool 2 User reviews Review. Top review. Better than expected. Wolverine is a decent movie. It is worth the price of admission and the 2 hours of screen time. The movie works well as a prequel of the events of the X-Men movies. However, to enjoy the movie, one must suspend knowledge of the comic book material. The movie was made for the average movie-goer and a little for the ultra hardcore X-Men comic book reader. The story has everything anyone could want: family, a little romance, love, comedy, revenge and plenty of action.

I was pleased with most of the acting. I will admit that some dialogue seems forced from the minor cast, but the main characters - Wolverine, Sabretooth, etc. The story did seem a little rushed and choppy at times, however.

The time goes by quickly enough to feel like maybe the movie could have - and should have - been closer to I am actually looking forward to seeing how they handle the Magneto origins movie that's being made.

And I am really hoping that all of this work brings it together for a possible X-Men 4. I know you agree with me because after all, I know everyone is dying to see Apocalypse as the bad guy.

My only real complaint of the movie is that Gambit my favorite X-Men character did not have as much screen time as I'd hoped.
